Lockton Insurance Brokers, the nation’s largest independently owned insurance broker, has appointed Adam McDonough to the post of Executive Vice President, Commercial Insurance Division. He will be based in Lockton’s San Francisco office.
McDonough has worked in the insurance industry for more than 15 years, including 10 years in the Bay Area – five years as a senior vice president with a national insurance brokerage firm where he was responsible for the development and execution of risk management programs and six years as a vice president with another national insurance brokerage firm in the financial products group.
In his new position, McDonough will assume a leadership role in the Property & Casualty Practice, which is integral to the company’s operations in Northern California.
Commenting on his appointment, Russ Sands, Chairman and CEO of Lockton San Francisco, said, “The addition of Adam represents a significant development in Lockton’s west coast operations. Adam’s experience, knowledge and ability to build and sustain relationships with clients will certainly contribute to our reputation for providing the highest levels of service in our industry.”
