Timothy Chaix, president of Irvine-based R.E.Chaix & Associates announced the new hire of Robbie J. McKinney.
McKinney is the newest underwriter/broker at Chaix’s Irvine facility. She will be reporting to Chaix.
With more than 20 years of experience in the wholesale/surplus lines industry, she will be responsible for new property and casualty business in the Inland Empire, parts of San Diego and portions of Northern California. Previously with Orion Risk in Corona, McKinney said that she is “happy to be back on the wholesale side.”
Prior to Orion, McKinney was an underwriter/broker at Aris Insurance Brokers in Southern California.
“We’re very fortunate to have such a seasoned underwriter join our growing operation. We appreciate that while her background is solid in wholesale, her recent retail experience enables us to take a fresh look at what our retailers may need to become more successful in today’s competitive market,” Chaix said.
