Peer Analytics Corp. announced that Fiachra (Figs) O’Sullivan has been named Director of Business Development, a new position, at the Walnut Creek, Calif.-based investment consulting firm which focuses exclusively on the insurance industry.
Reporting to David Newsom, Founder and Principal of Peer Analytics, O’Sullivan is taking responsibility for sales, marketing and corporate communications. He was previously a Corporate Client Group Director for Smith Barney in San Francisco. His appointment is effective immediately.
Founded in 1999, Peer Analytics is a consulting firm to insurance companies on all aspects of investment strategy, providing portfolio performance and structure advice, asset allocation and dynamic financial analysis (DFA) studies, investment policy design and investment manager search programs. The company’s primary specialty is a unique database service that gives insurance companies the ability to compare investment performance against peer universes of firms that file with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC).
