The Foremost Insurance Company, Grand Rapids, Mich., has introduced a dwelling fire program in California. Starting October 1, agents can start writing business designed to provide customers with insurance that other companies may reject.
The program is designed for individuals with lower-valued homes, “fixer-uppers”, customers with a history of multiple losses, vacant homes or homes under renovation, seasonal homes, homes with more than one family unit and landlords looking for coverage for rental properties, among others.
With a Foremost dwelling fire policy a customer has many options; from flexible payment plans to replacement cost on the home, to coverage for landlord properties Foremost may be the answer for many people who have hard to place property, or for those individuals who have been non-renewed by an insurance company in the past.
