The Los Angeles Chapter of CPCU recently volunteerd their time to help feed the hungry.
On Saturday, Oct. 16, volunteers, some with families, from the Los Angeles and El Camino CPCU Chapters, met at the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank to make Senior Food Packages and to separate donated food items for the less fortunate and hungry people in Los Angeles County.
The Los Angeles Regional Foodbank has been helping the hungry since 1973. The Foodbank serves a network of more than 1,000 charitable agencies in Los Angeles County and provides enough food for over 650,000 meals each week.
CPCU also made a cash donation to the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank to assist them with future projects.
