Golden Gate CPCU To Host All Industry Day March 3

The Golden Gate Chapter of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) will be hosting its 57th Annual All Industry Day on Friday, March 3, 2006, at the Argent Hotel in San Francisco.

The educational event will include two morning seminars covering:
*Workers Compensation – Real Life After Reform;
*Products Liability Made Easy;
*Directors and Officers Liability;
*Personal Lines, the Internet and the Independent Agent;
*Errors and Omissions Liability;
*Politics, Legislation and Compliance in an Age of Uncertainty; and
*Issues with Multi-Tenant/Multi-Use Property.

Each session will be presented by a panel of industry and related industry representatives who are experts in the specific topics.

The Luncheon will recognize the 2005-2006 Bay Area CPCU Designees, followed by a keynote address by Dr. I. James Valverde, Jr., director of Economics and Risk Management at the Insurance Information Institute. Valverde will discuss “Managing Natural Catastrophe in a Post-9/11 World” and consider how large-scale natural catastrophes are managed currently, the challenges we face (public and private), and the implications of those challenges.
