Woodland Hills, Calif.-based 21st Century Insurance has appointed Jesus Zaragoza vice president and controller. His responsibilities include GAAP and statutory accounting, SEC reporting and NAIC and DOI financial reporting. He also will be responsible for meeting the demands on quantity, quality and timeliness of financial reporting and disclosure to shareholders and regulators.
After joining 21st in 2003, he was promoted to assistant vice president and financial controller. Prior to joining the company, he spent seven years in the audit practice at Deloitte and Touche.
