Coverage is written on a Homeowners HO-3 Form, which includes a C.O.C. endorsement. The Policy becomes a regular HO-3 upon completion. The dwelling must be owner occupied upon completion, and the construction must be completed within 12 months.
Coverage limits are up to $1 million. Enhancements include coverage for theft of building materials, foundation collapse,and replacement cost. Coverage is based on the completed value. The minimum deductible is $250. The coverage is being provided by a preferred, admitted carrier, rated “A,” XV.
