Timothy J. Noonan, president and CEO of Lockton Insurance Brokers, Inc. based in Los Angeles, was recently honored by Phoenix House during its third annual “Triumph for Teens” Awards Gala at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. Nearly 300 people attended the event on April 10, raising more than $500,000 for Phoenix House, California’s leading non-profit substance abuse services organization. Noonan was awarded the 2006 Public Service Award for his professional accomplishments, philanthropic endeavors, and service in the community.
“Tim is a strong, loyal supporter of many institutions, organizations, and causes in Los Angeles. He has been deeply committed to Phoenix House and has played a key role in the growth and success of Phoenix House’s programs in California,” said Tony Pritzker, managing partner of The Pritzker Group, who presented the award to Noonan.
Noonan is a trustee of the UCLA Center on Aging and the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the ALS Association, and serves as chairman of the finance committee for Phoenix Houses of California. On a corporate level, he has made community involvement part of his company’s culture. As a result, Lockton is involved in more than 30 organizations and received the Corporate Philanthropy Award by the H.E.L.P. Group, a leading children’s organization.
“We are very fortunate, at Lockton, to be associated with Tim,” says David Lockton, chairman of Lockton Companies. “Not only has he led his operation to incredible heights of success, but he is an example for all Lockton associates to emulate.”
