Don\’t know much about him other than he tried to run for State Assembly a few years ago in the Silicon Valley Area. He has been very successful as a High Tech entreprenuer and has some very deep pockets. He came close to winning in a very gerrymandered district that would normally go GOP if it was not so custom carved to favor democrats. Poizner is a moderate and is not taking a dime from the industry, perhaps is the really reason that Bustamante returned money back to the industry.

The Industry should be as shamed as much as Bustamante has shamed himself. The industry should know better that left-wing types will never understand economics nor making logically sound decisions. Poinzer may be the best bet, he has run his own company and will not put up with industry nonsense.

You think the Democrats would learn after hollering \”Culture of Corruption\” all day long. Bustamante can\’t win diddly squat in California after this newss; and with the election being held tomorrow, it looks like Cruz will have to go find a real job, instead of ripping off the good citizens of California for a lousy vote. Go away Cruz, please go away. Scumbag.

He\’s returning the money because of an expose article written by Steve Lopez of the Los Angeles Times last week. Lopez pointed out the conflict of interest then, lo and behold, the money is now going back. I am not voting in this election.

This article is so informative, but fails to mention the state in which this Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustmante resides. I presume, by the simple assumption that we would know, that this must be California.

    This is California.

As a resident of California and an insurance broker I am very concerned with who we will end up with as the next commissioner. Alan.

Alan, I think a lot of people, regardless of living in CA, are concerned about who will be in at the Insurance Commission. I do not know much about the candidates other than to know Bustamante is not who I would want!

Question: Are there any OTHER candidates in Ins Commissioner or Lt Governor races who should be returning contributions from the claimants\’ bar???
