Scottsdale Insurance Co., an excess and surplus insurer based in Scottsdale, Ariz., has promoted Joseph “Joe” Griffith to vice president and chief information officer.
Griffith will be responsible for leading the information technology team in support of Scottsdale’s strategic objectives and business needs. He brings more than 18 years of IT experience to the role. Griffith joined SIC in 1995 and has led both application development and infrastructure groups within IT as a director, associate vice president, served as acting CIO for seven months and served as a core member of Scottsdale’s Agents Technology Advisory Committee.
Scottsdale Insurance Co. is a subsidiary of Nationwide.
