United Agencies Inc. Insurance announced that Joan Panasiti has been hired as general manager for the company’s Pasadena, Calif., headquarters.
She will be responsible for liaison with carrier relationships and troubleshooting for the multiple member agencies of United Agencies.
Panasiti began her insurance career in 1979 in Phoenix at Western Insurance Agency. She moved to Sullivan, Kelly & Associates in Phoenix and worked there six years until she was transferred to the Los Angeles office in 1993. It was at Hoffman Brown Co. in Sherman Oaks, Calif., that Joan was encouraged to expand her expertise in professional liability and in the technology field. She has been at United Agencies in the Pasadena office for the past six months working as an account executive for one of the member companies.
