David Morse & Associates (DM&A) Group based in Los Angeles has joined its operations with ISAC (Insurance Servicing & Adjusting Co.) of Sunrise, Fla.
The move is designed to increase DM&A’s presence in the Southeast and bring to ISAC the resources of DM&A in property, general liability, auto and other casualty lines, including its expertise as a third-party administrator.
ISAC will continue to operate as ISAC and will keep its name and personnel. The company has 7 branch offices in the Southeast — Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando and Tallahassee in Florida; Charleston and Florence in South Carolina; and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In the 2004/2005 hurricane seasons ISAC handled more than 100,000 catastrophe-related claims.
DM&A has three primary divisions — Independent Adjusting and Fraud Investigation, Third Party Administration, and Catastrophe Claims Services. The independent adjusting arm handles auto, trucking, property, general liability and most other lines of business. Its fraud investigation unit handles workers comp and life/disability investigations, as well as providing fraud investigation and compliance services for property and liability carriers. The Third Party Administration division provides auto TPA services and handles commercial claims for carriers.
DM&A has chosen Senior Vice President Rick Loden to take over as the President of ISAC to make the transition seamless for ISAC clients.
Loden, who was a senior officer at the Maryland Casualty Insurance Co. and at TIG and has more than 20 years of senior level management experience in the insurance industry.
