Beecher Carlson, an insurance brokerage and risk management consulting firm, has expanded its National Healthcare practice with the appointment of Michael Suter as senior vice president. Suter brings more than 25 years experience with expertise and specialization in medical malpractice liability insurance for physicians and large medical groups. He will focus on managing and growing the California Medical Group Insurance Co., Risk Retention Group (CMG). He will also produce and service medical malpractice, property and casualty insurance placements for medical groups, physicians and healthcare facilities in California. Suter will be based in Beecher Carlson’s Los Angeles office.
Prior to joining Beecher Carlson, Suter served as vice president in Aon Corp.’s National Healthcare Practice. He has also served as vice president with McKenna and Associates, a healthcare insurance brokerage.
