Hilb Rogal & Hobbs has appointed Bob Abramson the new leader of its national exces and surplus lines operations. He began his surplus lines career in 1977 with Bliss & Glennon Inc. After earning a CPCU and contributing the company’s success, he was named president in 1992. HRH acquired Bliss & Glennon in 2003, and Abramson continued to lead the company as president. He will continue to operate out of Bliss & Glennon’s Rendondo Beach, Calif., office.
