Union General Insurance Services Inc. is offering an admitted, preferred restaurant program in California, underwritten through Penn-America Insurance Co., rated “A-,” VIII, by A.M. Best.
The program is designed for small and medium sized luncheonettes, cafes, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. with receipts from alcoholic beverages up to 50 percent. Rating is based on square footage. New ventures are eligible.
Maximum limits are $1 million property; $1million/$2 million general liability (up to $3 million through a commercial umbrella or increased general liability programs); $300,000/$300,000 liquor liability.
