Los Angeles Abacus Insurance Brokers Inc. has changed the name of its online wholesale technology division APM Platform to Abacus.net. The name change is effective January 3, 2007.
“Abacus.net better reflects the online nature of our business and the network we have created that connects brokers with specialty coverages in a completely automated environment,” said Darren Lewin, Abacus vice president of program development. “The name change is a step in a series of strategic initiatives aimed to grow the Abacus brand in 2007 and beyond, and position Abacus as a leader of online insurance program delivery.”
Abacus Insurance Brokers, Inc is a retail and wholesale insurance brokerage.
