The American Institute for CPCU and the Insurance Institute of America (AICPCU/IIA) have signed an agreement with the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of Washington (IIABW) to give seminars based on the Accredited Adviser in Insurance designation program for agents and brokers. The seminars, which will qualify for continuing education (CE) credit, will be offered for the first time starting in late April 2007.
IIABW plans to offer AAI seminars at its headquarters in Bellevue, Wash. Agents and brokers who take the seminars for CE credit and pass the national exam immediately following each seminar earn credit toward the AAI designation.
With the addition of Washington, AAI seminars are offered in 23 states. For more information, visit www.wainsurance.org or contact Susan Scott, AAI, senior vice president of education, at sscott@wainsurance.org or at 425-649-0102. For further information about AAI seminars offered elsewhere, contact an AICPCU/IIA customer service representative at 800-644-2101.
