Capax-Giddings, Corby, Hynes Inc., a Modesto, Calif.-based insurance agency, has announced the election of Jon T. (Tim) Finster to president.
Finster joined Capax in Sept. 2004 as executive vice president. Prior to joining Capax, he was senior vice president, operations, with Pan American Underwriters Inc. He started his career in insurance in 1984 with The Travelers Insurance Co.
Capax is a regional insurance agency specializing in commercial insurance with two offices in Modesto, and offices in Fresno and Palm Desert, Calif. Capax and The Simon Companies are founders of the Pacific Purchasing Group, with members in the Fresno and Modesto areas.
