Porter Joins U.S. Risk in Ariz.

U.S. Risk Insurance Group, a privately held managing general agent and wholesale broker has hired Marti Porter as an underwriter for PL Pros, the professional liability division of its U.S. Risk Underwriters subsidiary.

Located at the U.S. Risk Underwriters’ office in Scottsdale, Ariz., Porter will be responsible for underwriting professional liability and employment practices liability coverage.

Prior to joining the U.S. Risk Underwriters team, Porter worked in the employment practices liability program of Swett & Crawford. Porter began her career in the insurance industry in the early 1980s at The Automobile Club of Southern California.
