C.M. Meiers Co. Inc. based in Woodland Hills, Calif., has named Chris Palmer director of risk services and account executive at CMM Entertainment, a division of C.M. Meiers Co. Inc.
Palmer has been a risk and insurance professional for almost 20 years, and is a recognized authority on international film and television risk, having provided risk control consultation on more than 900 film and productions including Titanic, X Men, Flyboys, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough, Behind Enemy Lines and Windtalkers. A pioneer in reality television safety, he was the on-set safety and risk management consultant for the first three seasons of Fear Factor. He has consulted in more than 50 countries around the world and taught film and television production safety at the Directors Guild of America, American Film Institute and UCLA Film School.
