Tangram Insurance Services, a self-insurance and alternative risk program management service provider, has appointed Barrett A. Steward vice president in its new Sacramento, Calif., office.
Steward will be charged with building Tangram’s presence in the alternative risk market, working with brokers, individual accounts and association groups providing guidance and management in the formation of captives, rent-a-captives, risk retention groups and other alternative risk funding arrangements throughout the United States.
Steward has worked in the insurance industry for more than18 years, most recently at Owen Dunn Insurance Services Inc. of Sacramento where he was director of alternative markets. His years of experience also includes positions with the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents, USA Risk Group and Marsh USA (Sedgwick).
