Montana captive regulatory officials announced that the state is scheduled to license its 30th captive insurance company before the end of the year. According to the Montana Captive Insurance Association Inc., that news indicates the state is one of the West’s leading captive domiciles.
Meanwhile, at the second annual MCIA conference, the group noted attendance was up 39 percent, further indicating the state’s captive growth.
