Vanorsdale Insurance Service is celebrating its 60th year of business in San Diego County.
The agency was originally founded by Charles Vanorsdale in 1947. At that time the office was located in La Mesa, Calif., and specialized in personal lines. Over the years, the company expanded into commercial lines as well, and relocated to San Diego. In 2006, the company was named “Employer of the Year” by the San Diego Chapter of Insurance Women. And in 2007 President Doug Galloway was honored with The Andrew H. Ekern Award by The IBA West San Diego Chapter for his service to the San Diego Community.
