The Harry W. Gorst Co. of Chatsworth, Calif., has promoted LaTanya Taylor to commercial lines underwriter.
Taylor began her career in insurance in 1989 at a large California wholesaler, in which she specialized as a tech ops/lead assistant underwriter and customer care associate in the health department. After 13 years, she moved to another organization and honed her skills in commercial lines and four years ago, found her niche at The Harry W. Gorst Co. Her current responsibilities will include underwriting and customer service with retail agents and insurance carriers in the commercial lines department.
