Charles Bentley has been promoted to attorney-in-charge for California State Compensation Insurance Fund’s Riverside Legal Department.
Bentley joined State Fund in 1992, when he was hired as a claims adjuster for the organization’s Los Angeles District Office. Three years later, he took on new responsibilities as a lien hearing representative and recorded the lowest settlements-to-lien ration for his unit. He started his State Fund legal career as a staff counsel ‘A’ in 1996 in the Los Angeles District Office Legal Department. As a novice attorney, he obtained three ‘Take Nothings’ including his very first trail. In 1998, he transferred his skills to Riverside Legal WCAB unit and followed this with a promotion to staff counsel III (specialist).
