West Coast Insurance Wholesaler Socius Inc has appointed Shannon Mahoney business development manager and Tim Troy assistant vice president in the company’s San Francisco headquarters.
Mahoney is charged with national new business development responsibilities, specifically targeting new agency appointments. She comes to Socius from a national retail brokerage, where she had a career in property and casualty sales for emerging businesses. Prior to that, she worked at Tangram Insurance Services as a marketing assistant.
Troy is charged with new business development responsibilities in Northern California for property and casualty risks primarily for the construction industry. He has construction insurance experience, having worked several years as a senior underwriter in the construction division of a national insurance carrier. Most recently, he was at Crouse & Associates in San Francisco, also focusing on construction business.
