The A.M. Best Co. has assigned a financial strength rating of A (Excellent) and an issuer credit rating of “a” to San Francisco-based CompWest Insurance Co. The outlook assigned to these ratings is stable.
Established in September 2004, CompWest Insurance Co. specializes in providing workers’ compensation insurance and services to mid-size companies through its select network of insurance broker partners in the West. The company provides coverage for more than 1,200 businesses throughout California.
