Heffernan Insurance Brokers has appointed Tino Versoza vice president of Financial Services, in its Portland, Ore., office.
Versoza has 15 years experience in the medical benefits industry in the Portland area, most recently at H-C & Associates/GET Benefits. At Heffernan, Versoza is charged with new business development growth in the Portland and greater Pacific Northwest region, with an emphasis in group medical plans for employers.
Versoza began his employee benefits career at Regency BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon where he managed accounts from one to 14,000 employees. He then moved on to LifeWise Health Plan of Oregon, where he introduced the first PPO plan with copays in Oregon.
Heffernan’s Financial Services division offers employee benefits, life insurance, 401(k) plans and retirement plans for both businesses and individuals.
