What’s interesting is the insurance department keeps lowering rates in CA, however, our government can’t lower gas prices. I’m not saying that they should, I’m just saying it’s interesting on how the government picks and chooses who to go after. I could use a 10 or even 30% decrease in my gas prices. I guess big oil is exempt. The good news is our government is bailing out mortgage companies for not making as much money as they did during the boom. I wish I was a mortgage company CEO right now. Bring on the million dollar bonuses.

Yeah, and what CSAA is not saying is that they are closing down all their claims and contact centers in California to move to a more “cost effective” state. (Oklahoma). People have been laid off in the Livermore & Irvine center. They want to continue charging california premium but operate from a cheaper state. It was a struggle to get them to pay severance until they finally did. However, it clearly says that by accepting the severance package, you are giving up your rights to file a lawsuit against them for any discrimation, harrassement, known or unknown issue. Prior to that, they were laying off employees that had been working for the company for many years with the excuse that they werent keeping up with their work. It was done in order to avoid paying severance. And the employees who got fired for alledgelly not keeping up with their work, were denied their unemployment. I was one of the affected employees that was laid off for not keeping up with my work after 8 years with the company. They worry so much about their reputation and they are just so full of it. Not to mention, that to get a 0.50 cents raise you got to fight for it. I am not talking about Southern California AAA, it’s Northern California AAA (CSAA).
