The Brownyard Group,
a program administrator providing specialized insurance coverage for select industry groups, announced it is offering workers’ compensation coverage in California for its security guard and pest control programs.
Coverage for both programs is written through Arch Insurance Co., rated “A” by A.M. Best, and can be written unsupported or as part of a package.
Brownyard Group, whose security guard program is called Brownguard, developed liability coverage for the security guard and private investigator industries to include coverage for professional liability, excess and umbrella liability, workers’ compensation, first- and third-party dishonesty, and auto and poperty, as well as an admitted market for general liability.
The pest control program, called PCOpro, is designed to meet the coverage needs for pest control operators (PCO), providing standard coverage plus general and professional liability. PCOpro also includes components such as sudden and accidental pollution, automobile pollution, transit coverage and workers’ compensation.
