Denver-based Van Gilder Insurance Corp. has announced the creation of a new business unit to meet the risk management needs of the healthcare industry. The new unit will be called the Healthcare Specialty Business Practice, and it will serve hospitals, clinics, physicians groups, assisted living and retirement facilities, as well as other consumer healthcare venues.
The new practice will be led by Bill Flynn, director of Van Gilder’s Commercial Insurance Division. Working alongside Flynn will be Joey Kellum as producer, and MaSharon Posey as account executive. Rounding out the team are Joan Valdez and Joann Potter as lead account managers, and Shirley Bolstok as the account associate for the unit. All six bring extensive healthcare market experience to the practice.
