I admit I do not know Julie…but I thought Larry Becker was a great President who got the shaft when he was president of North Pacific Ins. when the acqusition of the lousy company CGU formed, and now seems to be getting it again. Liberty Mutual acquired Safeco, so why is a former Safeco executive getting the top job? This also smells of a “politically correct” appointment.
