Wells Fargo Insurance Services Inc. has added Alan Boring as a senior vice president and sales executive in the Southern California region. Boring will specialize in upper middle market and large risk management accounts, with an emphasis on agriculture, food and food processing, retail chains and financial institutions. He will be based in the company’s Sherman Oaks, Calif., office and report to managing director, William H. Holden.
Boring began his career in 1981 with INA Insurance Co., working as an underwriter in its Special Risk Facility. He subsequently moved to the brokerage side of the business, working for Marsh as a commercial lines broker in the Large Accounts/Risk Management Consulting division and then in a similar capacity with Rollins Burdick Hunter and Aon.
