Gina Russo has opened independent insurance agency Trenchant Insurance Co. in Las Vegas, specializing in home, auto, life, health and flood Insurance for residential and commercial clients, as well as handling business insurance and bonds. As a broker, Trenchant represents a number of companies.
Russo, a native Las Vegan, recently received a Business Start Up Grant from Moms in Business Network. She started in the insurance field in 2000. For three years, she worked for a captive insurance company and then transitioned to the independent channel by starting an independent agency for a privately owned mortgage bank.
“I love being an independent agent because I can offer options. Working with me allows the consumer to have access to multiple companies through one source,” Russo said.
