Calif. Gov. Arnold Schwarzeneggerhas reappointed Carrie Nevans to the position of Division of Workers’ Compensation deputy administrative director.
In his announcement, Schwarzenegger pointed out that Nevans has more than 25 years of government experience in California and has served as administrative director and deputy administrative director for the DWC since 2005. Prior to that, Nevans was chief of programmatic services for the division and served as budget manager for the Department of Industrial Relations from 1999 to 2004.
Nevans served as a fiscal consultant to the California State Senate from 1995 to 1999 and as a budget analyst for the Department of Finance from 1994 to 1995. Her experience includes eight years of service under the Department of Corrections.
This position does not require Senate confirmation and the compensation is $132,179.
