Call it waht it is, a TAX. Why should the insurance industry be charged with collecting a TAX imposed by the State and having to explain to every upset client why their insurance is going up because of the State’s need to cure it budget problems. It is time the folks in Sacramento start to run the State as a business and when there is a decline in revenues they make cuts just like any private business is required to. It seems when times are good and revenues are up Government increases it’s spending but puts nothing aside for the future but when times are lean they have only one solution and that is to raise taxes. It’s time they address the hard issues and work within their means.
But you’re not paying 50% in taxes yet are you? lol The funny thing is government thinks they are Gods and they can do anything, including our Federal government and Paulson thinking he is God and will fix this mess or help his friends. However, the Real God only asks for 10% of our money and he is the creator of the universe. Man should never ask for more than 9% in taxes unless they can prove to us that He Has cometh again.
The politicians around the country took this lesson from Citizens in Florida. This way they can do anything they want and the insurance companies are the bad guys. First rate underhanded politics.
This is just more spending we tax you to the limit and then we tell you your have to pay for what you use. Expept when it comes to something the gov wants. Like Buses, Schools Welfare Etc. Why not charge the people who ride buses what it costs. The problem with ca is it has too much money like giving a heroin addict dope. The will just keep fixing until they are dead.
