Farmers Insurance Promotes Matlock to VP

Farmers Insurance has promoted Bill Matlock, state executive director, Los Angeles Market, to vice president field operations, Los Angeles Market.

Matlock joined the Farmers Insurance Group of Companies in September 1990 as a management trainee in the Columbus, Ohio, regional office. Over the course of six years, he held various positions within the marketing operation in Columbus before becoming a district manager. In July 2002, he was asked to join the management ranks in the home office in Los Angeles, and in 2003 became the Illinois state executive director. In 2006 he was appointed the state executive director of the Los Angeles market.
