Hub International Ltd.’s Northwest operating unit has acquired the assets of Rettenmier Benefits Group Inc., an Everett, Wash.-based employee benefits consulting and insurance brokerage firm serving businesses and individuals in the Pacific Northwest.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The employees of the Rettenmier firm, which was established in 1960, will join Hub Northwest and continue to operate from their current Everett office. The new location expands Hub Northwest’s presence to a new territory north of Seattle, according to the company.
Andy Prill, president of Hub Northwest, commented: “The addition of John and his team will significantly strengthen our employee benefits capabilities and enable us to apply the resources of both our commercial property and casualty and personal lines practices to provide comprehensive solutions for their clients. We look forward to expanding our services to Everett and surrounding communities.”
