California Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner will be hosting a Claims Cost Benchmark hearing to further investigate workers’ compensation medical costs today,at 1 p.m., June 1, 2009, in Sacramento, Calif.
The agenda is scheduled to allow representatives from all areas of the workers’ comp insurance industry to provide feedback, including insurance company representatives, self-insured employers, physicians and medical groups, other medical providers and networks, and the public.
