Nevada’s Division of Insurance will be hosting its first ever Insurance Industry Day on Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at the Harveys Lake Tahoe Resort.
The event was created “to foster a better partnership between the Division and its stakeholders, and to further cultivate a more efficient and responsive relationship,” the DOI said.
The agenda will include discussions on rate form filing processes, producer licensing, 2009 legislation changes, round-table discussions, workshops to inform DOI staff how to better meet the industry’s needs, and more. Commissioner Scott Kipper and his staff will be in attendance.
