Leila Tamashiro, president of the Honolulu Association of Insurance Professionals (HAIP), accepted the Jeffrey Nordhaus Education Award at the National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW (International)) regional meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The award honors the local association within the NAIW region which has significantly contributed to insurance education. Competing associations were evaluated on the courses their members attended or taught and insurance industry education articles written by their members.
The Honolulu Association of Insurance Professionals is the local chapter of the National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW).
