It is a sad day for SF Insurance. Mr. Ryan was a true professional and a really nice man! About five years ago, I traveled to Palm Springs for an ISU event (as a co sponsor)and had trouble with my luggage. Mr & Mrs. Ryan took me to the nearest mall so I could purchase what I needed. We then went out for ice cream. Really sweet people!

My condolences to the ISU team and to the Ryan family. I hope that TJ will keep his dad’s heart in the Co always!

I had the honor of meeting Tommy early in our careers and he was truly a gentleman. His last wishes stated by the Ryan Family are definitely those of the Tommy I knew with a big heart. What a blessed thing to do and my heartfelt wishes to his family he leaves behind. No more suffering!

I worked for Mr. Ryan from 1985 to 1988. The smartest person I have ever met.

He will be missed by all who have had any contact with him or his companies.

I had the privelege of working with Tommy while I was emplyed with Marsh & McLennan in San Francisco. He was still a consultant on the BART OCIP. Tommy was brilliant, candid, generous and kind. He adored his family and loved his insurance business and associates. He was full of wisdom and willing to share it. My life is richer for having known him.
