San Francisco-based Woodruff-Sawyer & Co. announced that Bruce Okrepkie has joined the firm as vice president for the Construction Practice in the North Bay. His focus will be client development and management of surety and property casualty insurance for Woodruff-Sawyer Construction clients.
Okrepkie started his career as a branch manager for a regional office of San Francisco Federal Savings & Loan. In 1984, he joined Ellingson & Jones/ABD/Wells Fargo Insurance as bond department manager. At Wells Fargo Insurance he handled the surety operations for California and Oregon. He is on the boards of the North Coast Builders Exchange (NCBE), the Northern California Association of General Contractors (AGC) and of the Northern Home Builders Association (HBA). In addition, he is actively involved with the Engineering Contractors Association (ECA), American Subcontractors Association (ASA) and the National Association of Surety Bond Professionals (NASBP).
