    Onr ex-boss told us in our underwriting meeting, “Don’t leave any money on the table.”
    My last boss had customers angrily calling for their return premiums as they were held up endlessly by our agency.
    I pray my next employer will be a decent and honorable insurance professional.

    Many years in commercial underwriting. Vast majority of agents I worked with were great, honest people. But there were enough who weren’t. Company didn’t really care. Class can’t teach it. Either you’re honest or you aren’t.

    Ethics, like morality, are dying in our society. I’ve finally accepted the fact that some human beings are inherently flawed and are incapable of doing the right thing. Even those who are of fairly strong moral fibre can be challenged by always getting screwed by the bad apples.
