ACE Private Risk Services, part of the ACE Group, announced that it has expanded the availability of its ACE Platinum Portfolio policy to Washington state. In addition, Shannon Detroit has been appointed territory manager for the state. Based in Seattle, Detroit will have overall responsibility for the appointment and management of independent agents in Washington, and will lead efforts to promote the benefits and advantages of the ACE Platinum Portfolio program.
The ACE Platinum Portfolio is designed to meet the needs of affluent and high net worth individuals and families. The policy provides specialized coverage for homes, vacation properties, automobiles, watercraft, jewelry and other valuable collections, and excess liability protection.
“Washington represents a very important state for us,” said Steve LoCascio, regional vice president for the Western region of ACE Private Risk Services. “It is one of the last states in our national rollout with high concentrations of well-to-do individuals and high value homes. Achieving success will require a combination of comprehensive products and services, and the right talent to lay the groundwork for our agency force in the state.”
Detroit has more than 11 years of experience in the insurance arena, spanning both marketing and sales roles in the high net worth personal lines marketplace. He is a long-time resident of the Pacific Northwest and holds property/casualty and life/health insurance licenses.
