Wait a minute…If an insured makes an error on an application, they get dropped like a hot potato. Anthem makes HUGE errors on their application, and all they say is, “Oops, sorry about that!”. How about massive penalties, enquiries and some morons getting fired. For years they have justified terminating coverage for errors on applications, and it always seems to happen right when the insured gets sick….hmmmm. This is just another big company preying on the sick and weak. PATHETIC.

and never giving any real justification as to WHY those rates are going up. Especially as an agent and you are seeing an insured group rate skyrocket 15-18% each year!

Wasn’t it Anthem Blue Cross that the Democrats used as an example of high prices to shove the Health Care Reform Bill down our throats? Now it was just a mistake and the rates aren’t going to go into effect after all. Makes you wonder huh?

Yeh, the whole health care debate was based on one companies rates.

This is the lamest excuse I have ever heard. With a motion that effects the actual lives of millions of people, Anthem doesn’t even get a slap in the hand. Anthem can’t even hire actuaries who does their arithmetic properly and we are supposed to trust them with our entire healthcare ??? I find it difficult to sleep at nights with our commissioner’s reaction to this. Obama is right, this is really getting out of hand.

Hey, if double counting is good enough for the federal gov’mint, it’s good enough for Anthem. The CBO has pointed out double (ac)counting throughout the fed’s health “care” bill. Why aren’t y’all excited about that? Oh, wait. I know. The gov’mint will protect us from ourselves. Corporations. BAD! Government. GOOD! Dream on……
