Signature Insurance Group of Laguna Niguel, Calif., announced that Jim Brakke co-founder of Brakke-Schafnitz Insurance Brokers Inc., is retiring after 40 years of service.
Brakke stated, “I am looking forward to retirement and spending time with family and pursuing other activities.” Jim and his wife Glenys have three children and five grandchildren and are planning on staying in San Juan Capistrano, Calif., during retirement.
Since 1971, Signature Insurance Group (Formerly Brakke-Schafnitz Insurance Brokers Inc. (BSIB), Brakke-Schafnitz West (BSW), Saddleback Valley Insurance Centers (SVIC) and Infinity Assurance Group (IAG), has been a provider of commercial and personal insurance, serving its customers in all 50 states.
