why not include emergency and law enforcement? don’t they have to concentrate to drive? afterall, they have to travel sometimes at high rate of speed. looking at a computer while traveling is not good either. if i were anyone, i would send this to court because it has an unfair ruling for all people. if they want all their driver to drive undistracted, it should not matter who is behind the wheel.

“words” without enforcement and a serious consequence are meaningless. So is “suspending a license”. People still drive. “IF” anyone was serious about changing behavior, there’d be a significant penalty, not a crappy $50 fine. How about a $1,000 fine and a week in the slammer? That would get people’s attention. The country doesn’t have the balls to get tough.
