Sue C. Hutchings has joined CompPartners, a workers’ compensation, disability, and group health managed care organization, as account manager. She brings 25 years of experience to the position, having most recently served as regional workers’ compensation claims supervisor for PMA Insurance Group.
Hutchings’ expertise spans all aspects of claims management, supervision, litigation, and adjusting. She spent six years training and overseeing defense attorneys in California workers’ compensation litigation and served as an instructor for the Insurance Education Association on permanent disability rating. Hutchings has given numerous presentations on workers’ compensation reform in California, evaluation of permanent impairment, reporting and claims handling procedures, managed care rules and tools, and Texas Health Care Networks.
Hutchings is a Certified Professional in Disability Management (CPDM) through IEA (Insurance Education Association) and holds the Self-Insurance Administrator certificate.
